2002 First round servo testing has highlighted
reliability deficiencies. Servo modifications have been implemented
and second round testing will commence in August.

Flight simulation models of the Trainer UAV and the Tandem Wing UAV
have been completed and have been used to assist in failure modes analyses,
test plan development, display evaluation, control systems design and
training.
June 2002
UAV Ground Control Station has completed the first round of functional
tests demonstrating the uplink transmitter and downlink receiver, flight
controls, and flight display software.
July 2002
University of South Australia completed formal test and evaluation of
Trainer/Tandem Wing UAV flight displays using flight simulation.
July 2002
UAV Ground Control Station has been successfully used to control a UAV
fitted with a video camera system. Two flights were completed with a
total of 30 minutes of GCS controlled flight culminating in a landing
using this system.
