CONCEPTUAL DESIGN AND SYSTEMS ANALYSIS

Every project that ASC undertakes is carefully tailored to our customers' specific needs. ASC presently has customers from the mining industry, a local University, and several Defence industry clients. While one client requires ASC to perform work all the way from concept through to flight test (as in the case of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles), some others utilise a portion of the services we offer. An example of this would be systems engineering, test & evaluation services, flight simulation or structural analysis and design services only.

In addition to design, fabrication and testing, ASC is able to provide clients with many aspects of their projects - including SEMP & TEMP preparation, flight test plan preparation, stores compatibility assessments and management of these projects.

Previous work has involved air vehicle preliminary sizing and configuration determination, preliminary performance estimates, payload-mission tradeoff studies, risk and hazards analyses and flight dynamics simulations. These studies have varied widely and have included fixed wing aircraft, helicopters, autogyros, airships, stand-off missiles and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs).
